Meet Emily Carpenter…she is the founder of Golden Positivity! Ever since she was first diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at 9 years old, she had the goal of starting a non-profit. She underwent chemotherapy and achieved remission. After a year of being cancer-free, she relapsed. She then received more chemo and a bone marrow transplant from her younger sister Matty. Everything had been going well until her senior year of high school when she was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. She was treated with more chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. She was in remission once again until June of 2024 when she unfortunately relapsed with Ewing Sarcoma. Treatment was initiated at this time and carried on into 2025 when the cancer continued to spread. Throughout her journey, Emily never lost her positive attitude, uplifting spirit, and light that touched so many lives. Emily went to be with her Savior on April 16th, 2025.

Due to all the kindness that Emily received throughout her treatments, she decided to start Golden Positivity to provide the same support for others. She believed that a positive mindset is half the battle when it comes to fighting cancer. Any bit of kindness Golden Positivity can provide to help boost that mindset and bring happiness is what we are here to do.
